The DuPont Fire Department proudly serves a vibrant community of over 10,000 residents, as well as numerous high-value commercial and industrial properties. Guided by a commitment to dedication, professionalism, and integrity, our department strives for efficient response, flawless performance, and compassionate care in every situation.

Our firefighters deliver exceptional first-response services for fires, BLS/ALS medical emergencies, and a variety of other urgent calls. In addition to emergency response, the crew participates in community events, provides assistance on request, and undertakes training, maintenance, inspections, and special assignments as needed. Each shift is led by a skilled Fire Captain, with crews working 48/96 rotations.

The Fire Chief and Assistant Chief provide additional command support during major incidents, responding after hours whenever possible to ensure strong leadership and effective coordination.
