Shawna Gasak

Shawna Gasak has been a DuPont resident since 1999, relocating from King County in search of a peaceful, suburban community.  She is a proud dog mom who enjoys gardening, baking, live music, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.  She loves visiting the DuPont Parks and walking her three dogs on trails throughout the city.  

Shawna is a strong supporter of Public Safety, Parks and Recreation and responsible fiscal spending.  She has over 30 years' experience in finance, including commercial, residential, consumer and construction lending.  Shawna previously served as a Councilmember from 2013-2021.  

She also served on the Citizens Finance Committee, DuPont Planning Commission, Transportation Benefit District and she was Chair of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.  Shawna works full time in Lacey as the VP of Consumer Lending for O Bee Credit Union.
