Utility Billing

The City of Dupont serves all residential, commercial, and industrial customers with water and stormwater within the City limits.  We do not bill for sewer or garbage, however, you may contact Pierce County for your sewer inquires, LeMay for garbage/yard waste/recycling inquires and Puget Sound Energy for electricity and natural gas.

Billing Cycle and Due Dates
We are on a two month billing cycle.
Bills are sent out every two months on the odd-numbered months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) and are due on the 20th of the month.  Past due charges are assessed on the 1st of the following month.

Payments
We offer online payments including Auto Pay which pulls from a debit or credit card on the due date of every bill.  Payments of cash, check, or money order, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Cards may be used in person at City Hall.

Please note when you first sign up for Auto Pay, it will not pay any current charges already billed such as the new account connection charge or the rental deposit for renters- they will need to be manually paid.

For after hours payments you may pay online here or via the drop box in the northwest corner of the Civic Center parking lot. This box is only checked once daily. Payments being dropped off on their due date need to be brought into City Hall.  Please see our business hours on the right.

**New automated service:  You can call 253-466-2999 anytime with your account number to check your balance and make a phone payment.  The City will also initiate a phone call to your registered phone number if you are past due.**
